about us and our model hats
Providing a good quality product that brings a little happiness to everyday living!
We are a small southern family business owned and operated by Kerry and Melinda Cummings from their property in North Carolina. The Model Hat was the idea and creation of Kerry's late friend and mentor, Jerry Watson of Galax, Virginia.
After Jerry's passing in 2017, Kerry and Melinda acquired the business and have been working to grow it. Now with locations selling the hat in three states, we are expanding with a website and are always looking for new stores to partner with.
